Hi, I’m Marc Hoek!

I’m currently a master student studying Computer Science - Advanced Computing and Systems at Leiden University. Besides this I currently work as a part-time Software Engineer at Record Industry B.V., where I work on full-stack apps, database management and automation.

Some know me as former COO of the student company LUdev, where I focussed on overseeing the progress of tasks and generally helping out. You might also know me from my attendance at CTF events, where I’m associated with Team FR1K4ND3LBR00DJ3 and the Leiden Secret Key Force. I also like making games, but I rarely publish them. What I have published can be found on my Itch.io page.

Please, don’t feel alarmed by the interior. The torches will warm you up, the doors creak nicely and the skulls … make for good company. Any dungeon crawler should feel right at home!

This site is mainly a personal exercise but I also will eventually use it to share cool things I did in my blog. It is still a work in progress!
